The Bang in Bangalore.

Bangalore as we all know is the fastest developing city in India. Well, it is among the most developed cities not just India, but also in the whole of south Asia. BUT, Is Bangalore losing all its colour and glamour? Is the value of “brand Bangalore” depreciating? Is this no longer the garden city? Is coalition government the only solution? Did Bangalore give the word Traffic an entirely new definition? Why is it taking ages to build fly-overs which are merely simple. What could be the solution to population and pollution? Is Bangalore another Bombay where people just flow in from all corners of the country. Is “Namma Metro” a solution after all?

This is something we hear in everyday news.
In the last twenty years, Bangalore has really developed a lot. Its got a name globally, Its contributed a lot to the Indian economy, It is the silicon valley of India… BUT, Is is there an unseen fall after the rise? Is Bangalore losing its culture, heritage and greenery for its infrastructure? The traffic is becoming really uncontrollable.

Due to the centralisation of the city, a lot of people come in search of BPO jobs and other such well paying jobs. The population rise in the city is almost too much even for the government to handle. Heavy traffic jams and huge amounts of people in the buses and other public places. We in fact have stopped caring for traffic jams, We enjoy the huge time We waste waiting in the traffic jams. We have accepted this way of life. We don’t realise the importance of following the traffic rules. We blame the government for everything that We do.

Though we are facing many problems, we aren’t complaining too much about it, it’s this light attitude that has brought our city to this condition.
Its high time WE Bangaloreans act. Before Bangalore loses all its fame, WE should bring the bang back in Bangalore.
